Kara applies her background in fine arts and production to her pursuits in digital illustration, 2D animation and design. She is passionate about color and texture. She uses her dreamlike imagination to illustrate the connections between humanity, nature and the fantasy fueled practice that is art making. After spending childhood and adolescence between Ohio and New York Kara has been based in New York for over a decade.
